Do you have an inspiring story to put forward for the Frontline Heroes category for the IWFM Impact Awards 2021?

The work of workplace and facilities management teams, directly and indirectly, generates work for millions of individuals; whilst many understand the impact that these roles have on their success, too often that recognition is limited to their immediate peers. This Award highlights these efforts for wider recognition. Submit the stories of your unsung heroes and heroines and the IWFM membership will vote for their favourites. The winning entry will encapsulate the spirit and professionalism of workplace and facilities management at its best. It will demonstrate all the hallmarks of a high-performance individual or team and be an inspiration in and beyond the profession.

Entries for the Frontline Heroes category require a 500-word written summary of the work carried out and a short video (three minutes maximum) to be submitted as part of the entry. The entries will then be shortlisted by a judging panel and finalists will be put to a public vote with the winners chosen by their professional peers and announced at the Awards ceremony on 11 October 2021.

The Frontline Heroes category is free to enter! Find out more about entering here.

Entry deadline: midday on Tuesday 4 May (BST)

Inspiration

In 2020, the IWFM Impact Awards introduced the special COVID-19 Response Award category to acknowledge extraordinary acts in extraordinary times; read more about the winners here.

Last year, IWFM held a webinar where David Sharp, IWFM Impact Award Lead Judge, and fellow judges discuss the inspirational winners of the four COVID-19 Response Awards and reflected on the effect that the profession’s response to the pandemic has had on workplace and facilities management’s  standing and estimation more widely.  Watch the Navigating Turbulent Times webinar: First class responders: lessons from award-winning case studies.
