Maddie Hayes, Mace Macro

Maddie is the soft services account lead for Europe, Americas, Middle East and Pakistan for Macro’s account with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).

Described by her employer as ‘an impressive young FM professional, delivering a high standard of service’ she has taken on many challenges and utilised every opportunity that has been given to her at Mace Macro.

She demonstrates a clear understanding of the industry and shows great potential for future growth and leadership.

Maddie started at Mace Macro as an assistant FM at SCB’s London HQ after completing Macro’s two-year graduate scheme. Earlier in 2019 she took up her current role in Dubai.

In banking, governance and assurance is of the utmost importance to minimise risk, as well as a contractual requirement.  On joining the SCB account Maddie worked on the complex governance and assurance framework for the retained SCB team and the newly appointed Macro team.  She has since been promoted, with responsibility for streamlining and aligning processes across the bank’s 26 markets, while continuing to promote best practice and encourage innovation from in-country teams.  She’s also working towards an accreditation in FM and plans a master’s degree in the field.

Tipping her as a future industry leader, the judges gave Maddie top marks for what she was doing and the real impact she has made already.
